The beautiful lands of Patagonia are becoming a network of 17 national parks. It's because of a huge donation of US billionaire Douglas Tompkins. Jimmy Langon, who writes for Patagonia journal says the region of South Chile is unique, mountainous, full of rivers, temperate forests and has been isolated from civilisation for many years. He mentioned that this a great achievement not only for Chile but also for the world.
I believe we need to make more steps towards our planet and ecosystem which we're destroying and polluting every single day. I'm very happy that there are some people who actually have ambition and material ability to make a change like for ex. Leonardo DiCaprio. On the other hand, I don't think that the biggest companies will become eco-friendly because all they care about is money.
