TOMMY HILFIGER RISING LIKE A PHOENIX FROM THE ASHES

MY BLOG IS ALL ABOUT THE DARKER SIDE OF FASHION, RUNWAYS AND  FASHION MARKET; IN OTHER WORDS: THE TRUTH BEHIND FASHION DREAM WORLD.

We all know that Tommy wasn't always shining as much as his ''friends'' from the brand like Calvin Klein or Ralph Lauren but that's all gone as he debuted at the premiere of his TOMMYxGIGI fashion show (third day of New York Fashion Week). tommyxgigi fashion show

What made it so successful? First of all: Gigi Hadid.
She's currently one of the biggest supermodels on the Earth and it was impossible to lose attention of the world while having Gigi's name at billboards. Moreover, as she's dating ex member of One Direction band - Zayn Malik, paparazzi is watching her 24/7. Hilfiger finally realized that the appearance of the look has to be associated with something or someone even bigger than the collection. Calvin Richard Klein was actually one of the first who came up with the idea of focusing our attention more to the celebrity than to the outfit (by inviting for example: Kendall Jenner, Nick Jonas or Justin Bieber). justin bieber calvin klein  kendall jenner calvin klein
On top of that, Gigi invited her best friends such as (singer) Taylor Swift or (supermodel) Hailey Baldwin.
Secondly, the whole collection is very ''tricky'' for our minds and that's why it's sold like hotcakes. Pieces are made for fall and winter but we can clearly feel summer vibes because of the white and navy blue colours with marine details . It's like we're bringing the ending summer with us on a new winter journey. tommyxgigi
Another aspect of the Tommy's triumph is collaboration with Zalando. This german company is selling now almost 150 000 products from 1500 brands which can be really hard to get anywhere else. People from all over the Europe can enjoy the looks with free delivery and 100 days ability of return.

Finally, Tommy Jacob Hilfiger just like Tom Ford and Burberry decided to get even closer to the costumers by giving them opportunity to buy his work immediately after the show. This new way of selling is called ''see-now-buy-now''. So hungry for high fashion celebs as well as ordinary mortals (us) are able to get whatever they want, before the store premiere and opening. And when we aren't in New York, we can watch live stream of the event and buy everything from online shop

Who knows what might happen in the future? Maybe we'll be teleported straight to the runway or the runway will visit us at home? I'm sure that designers will do anything to sell as much as it's possible, but we'll find out anyway :)

  1. I'm truly impressed by your enthusiasm but you've gone a little bit over the top with the amount of information and the number of words used. It's all a bit confusing for someone who, like me, knows very little about the fashion world.
To make your blog more readable do the following:
    1. Try to focus on one thing: one show, one designer, one feature of a collection, etc.
    2. Limit the number of words to 200 - it helps to discipline yourself.
    3. Cut the number of photos.
